Privacy Policy
Pea Sprout Games LLC (“Pea Sprout Games,” “we,” “us”) makes games for players of all ages, including children. This policy explains what information our games and this website collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. The short version
- We collect as little as possible. We design our games to collect no personal information wherever we can.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not show personalized ads to children.
- Each game's exact data practices are listed in Game-by-game details below and in its App Store and Google Play listing.
- Parents can ask us at any time what we have about their child and have it deleted.
2. Children's privacy
Many of the games we’re planning are for children under 13. For those games, we follow the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the rules of the Apple App Store and Google Play for apps made for children. In games made for children:
- We do not collect personal information from a child — such as a name, email address, photo, voice recording, precise location, or a persistent identifier used to track them — without first getting verifiable consent from a parent, except where the law allows it.
- We do not show behavioral or personalized advertising.
- Purchases, links that leave the game, and requests for permissions are placed behind a parental gate.
- Children cannot share personal information publicly through the game.
If a game made for children ever needs personal information to work, we will explain what and why in that game's section below, and ask a parent first.
If you believe a child has given us personal information without a parent's consent, email privacy@peasproutgames.com and we will delete it.
Parents' rights. A parent or guardian can at any time ask to review the personal information we have about their child, have it deleted, and refuse to allow any further collection or use. We will verify that you are the child's parent before acting on a request.
3. Information in our games
What a game collects depends on how it works. Across our games, information falls into these groups:
Information that stays on the device
Game progress, settings and creations (like a story a child writes) are stored on the device by default. We cannot see this information unless a game says otherwise.
Information a game may collect
Some games may use services that collect limited technical information, such as:
- Crash and performance reports — device model, operating system version and what the game was doing when it crashed, so we can fix bugs.
- Gameplay statistics — which levels are completed or where players get stuck, so we can improve the game.
- Hardware connections — games that work with physical devices, such as drones, may need Bluetooth or local network access to connect to them. The connection data is used only to operate the device.
In games made for children, any such information is collected only in the limited ways COPPA permits for supporting the internal operation of the game, or with a parent's consent.
Information you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to help you.
4. Game-by-game details
Before each game is released, we list here exactly what it collects, which services it uses, and whether it is made for children.
No games have been released yet.
5. This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not load fonts or scripts from other companies. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
6. Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never receive your payment card details. The store tells us only that a purchase was made, so we can unlock what you bought.
7. How information is shared
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers that help us run our games and this website, who may use it only to provide their service to us. Each game's section names the providers it uses.
- When required by law, or to protect the safety of our players or others.
- If our business is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to information collected under it.
8. Keeping information safe
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, then delete it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, and limit access to people who need it to do their work.
9. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you or your child, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR in Europe and the UK or state privacy laws in the United States. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
To make a request, email privacy@peasproutgames.com. We will respond within the time the law requires.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change affects how we handle children's information, we will ask for a parent's consent where the law requires it.
